on a first listen through, pretty good
RELISTEN1: on a relisten I actually liked them way more than I remembered. For albums one and three it was a mix of stuff that was really pretty good and stuff that wasn’t bad or boring but just a little bit awkward, if that makes sense. Albums two and four didn’t have the awkwardness, but it also weren’t nearly as engaging, they felt just far more basic. All around yeah I definitely like them a lot more than I remember, and I still think that B+, albeit a high B+, is a perfectly good place for them to be. Lots of good about them, to be sure, but there’s enough I don’t like that the A range just doesn’t make sense
