chill, pleasant. no songs I dislike, just not always super interesting/engaging. pretty alright
RELISTEN1: Fuzzybrain is more mid than I remembered it being. I remembered it being a little bit mid, it was more mid than that. I like the songs I like pretty well, and the others I have approximately zero interest in. To a surprising degree, I was surprised by how little I cared about the songs I didn’t love (I mostly like Nicknames from this one).
Harmony House has the most songs I like the most, I am quite attached to the songs I like in it. These songs (Close to You, Medicine, Crying on the Dancefloor), I like way more than I did at first, I like them quite a bit. The rest, again, I thoroughly don’t care about.
People In Motion is pretty consistent throughout. I don’t love any of the songs but I also liked pretty much all of the songs. It’s aight.
I am bored by Dayglow. I think it is his best album, kind of? It is the best put together, it’s the most consistent, it’s kinda the most well made, I think. But it has no songs that I love as much as the ones I like from Harmony House, and it… I dunno. I think it’s kinda boring. I just think it’s boring, I dunno.
Altogether I’m going to keep Dayglow at a B. I do really like the parts of it I like. There are songs that are so authentically fun, I really enjoy them, I get into them, they groove hard. The rest of it is meh enough that I’m gonna move it lower down the Bs, but I think B is still a pretty good spot.
