really interesting and really good, I dunno if there’s just stuff I’m not hearing in White Stripes but I quite like White’s solo stuff, and I think it’s getting better. I also just get the vibe that White is an interesting guy, I like his vibe
RELISTEN1: wow, Blunderbuss is strong. It’s all strong. I’ve definitely grown more able to listen to and enjoy Jack White and that whole genre. I remember being curious about it and knowing that I felt it had potential, but also not really being able to differentiate between songs very well, not being able to tell which ones I really liked. Listening now, and songs that I’d left behind stood out to me as excellent, they were great and it was obvious to me. I very much enjoyed this relisten. All these albums are great, really solid all around, all the way through. I like Jack White, I like the types of experiments he does, I like the sound of him, I think he’s interesting and good. Entering Heaven Alive is still my least favorite of these, but it’s not bad, just going for different stuff than I like, I think. Mellow, doesn’t catch my ear. But yeah, I like it a lot. The music is good and Jack White is just such a cool dude, he makes such interesting stuff. I’m gonna bump it up, A+
