100: Quinn XCII (A-→B-→D-)

Quinn XCII in tier list

I actually have no idea, I could see this going way higher or lower, we’ll have to see. I like it, it’s consistent and good and vibing, though I don’t care for his themes. Honestly, most of the time I was listening to this I was wishing it were Still Woozy, which I feel is kinda the same idea but just… better. I dunno, we’ll see how I feel about this given more time

EDIT: I’ve gotten some further exposure to this, some more listens, and it really is pretty dull. Just not particularly interesting, not engaging. Like, it’s fine?, but that’s all. pretty mid, sorry Quinn, wanted to like you more

EDIT: yeah, the more I listen the more stale it feels. not my jam

RELISTEN1: man, I dunno. I don’t really like it. There’s no real reason for it. It’s boring, it’s… I dunno, it’s fine. I feel like I should like it fine. Not a ton, it’s repetitive and bland enough that I don’t think it would ever be something I really enjoy all that much. But I don’t like his voice, I don’t really like his energy, there’s more to it that’s unappealing that I can’t place. On the surface, especially for more recent stuff, I feel like I should like him fine, as like a B- or something. It’s just pop music, decent pop music, and I like pop music, I’ve got nothing against it and it’s fun and pleasant and that’s great, whatever. But I don’t care for this, like, at all. Except, sometimes I kinda almost do, but then I don’t? There’ll be a phrase, a bar, a lyric, a vibe, something that just feels off and it throws a wrench into the whole thing. That’s not a satisfying answer, but it’s what I’ve got. That said, I’m still shifting him up a little, ‘cause I’d still rather listen to him than to Lana Del Rey or NF
