solid, i guess. consistent and pretty good, but there weren’t any songs I listened to and liked individually, they all blend together. countrey still sounds samey to me
EDIT: very immediate first impression on the relisten was pretty good, actually. I think their songwriting is pretty solid and they’re fun. But the rest of the relisten was disappointing as it kinda fell into its groove. I just don’t vibe with the style I think. Some albums I liked more than others, but all were generally within the same range. Usually a little bit slower and honky-tonkier than is my preference. All good, but only good enough to almost like instead of stuff actually like. My overall take this time around is that they’re legit and I can understand how they’re big in the country world, but I don’t love them. Not my thing. There is stuff I like from them and about them though, so a B- is still my call, I’m leaving them where they are
