just one album and some singles, but I like it. Super consistent, bright, fun, funky. Don’t like it as much as other stuff that it reminds me of (upstate, sammy rae), but I could say that changing with time. We’ll see how it grows on me
RELISTEN1: it never really grabbed me. It’s fun, it’s pleasant. I first listened to it sitting on the grass in the sunshine on an early summer day, so the vibes were really lining up strong, but even at that time I couldn’t point to any individual songs I’d really like. I’d really enjoyed it at the time, though, so I assumed it would grow on me, I’d assumed it would stick as I listened to it more. But it never did, and not only did it never stick, the general pleasantness kinda started to degrade. I didn’t stop liking it, but it lost some of its glamour. So I did my relisten, and it really just confirmed that disillusionment. It’s still good, for sure it’s still good, but it’s definitely not an A-. I’m gonna put it down as a lowish B. I like it, I think it’s good, the vibes are there. It still reminds me of other stuff I do really like in a good way, but I’m not a fan, I’m not at all invested
