some songs I like, lots of songs that seem nice but aren’t my vibe. I dunno, seem alright but not my jam
RELISTEN1: the half of the record (the name of the record is the record, for those unfamiliar) that I like, I really like quite a lot. The half of the album I don’t, I really don’t care for much at all. I can hear how someone else might– it feels like it gets to what it’s going for. I just don’t love what it’s going for all that much. Except for when I do, I guess. That’s pretty true across their other work, too. Definitely one of those things where I thought I liked them more than I did because I only keep listening to the bits and pieces that I like a lot and over time forget about the bits and pieces I don’t. I’m moving them up a few spots (from just above David Gates to just below Benson Boone) but I think the mid-B is actually a pretty good spot for them still
