there’s some Smiths vibes coming through here, a taste of Morrissey inspired vocals in the first album. It’s subtle enough that it’s not really distracting, but I do think it’s telling of where the band is coming from, so that’s interesting. First album is decent, second album is better, but still nothing to write home about. I dunno, it seems good, seems alright, but it doesn’t grab me and it’s not all that unique. Possible that it’ll grow on me but for now I wouldn’t call it anything special, B-

Yep. Smiths and Morissey vibes – which never has been my vibe so it’s hard for me to really dig this music fully. In the words of Cher from Clueless – Yuck! What is it about college and cry-baby music? But as far as cry-baby music goes, not too bad. (C-)
