Dew’s name is all over song credits. Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, more. He made it onto my list via association to Jack Antinoff; he’s part of Red Hearse with Antinoff and Sounwave. Anyway. I really liked the singles and ep, they were fun and interesting, definitely a vibe. I was looking forward to the after liking the first stuff I listened to, but the energy is pretty different, it’s not what I was hoping for. It’s not bad, it’s just very slow. Really, I think that’s all it is. I kept trying to think of other concrete reasons for me to like it less, and I think at the end of the day the album just feels way too slow for me. That’s kinda it, that feels like a lame thing to be my primary reason for not liking something, but there it is. B-
