Ack! So late on this! End of the semester is a lame excuse but so it goes.
I listened to all the EPs and the one LP so many times. At least four times each. I liked them all decently well, they were a pleasant time, but that’s not why I listened to them so much. I listened to them so much because the music would just slip out of my ears. I like it, but I think it does get… I dunno, too vibey? The vibe loses me, I don’t stay grounded in the music well enough to enjoy it. I kept finishing an album and realizing I had zero memory of it playing. It would not sit in my ear. Just, in and out. There were bits and bobs I like, and it was always pretty pleasant, but it just wouldn’t stick.
But again, bits and bobs I did like pretty well, and there was never anything I didn’t like, so. B- feels appropriate.
