326: JVKE (A-)

JVKE in tier list

It’s pretty good, pretty solid. Dunno that I have much more to say about it.

Like, that’s a pretty lame review, but it’s kinda what I got. It is very pop music of its time, I think. It’s not breaking out of any molds, but it sounds good and I enjoy it. There are some songs I like quite a lot (I think I particularly liked “colors” and “this is what space feels like”, off the top of my head. didn’t keep well enough track to list any others right now.); there are a fair number of songs that weren’t bad but that I didn’t care for. It’s fun, it’s well produced, it’s good.

Not a lot to say, but I liked it well enough for an A-, so. Yeah.

Ugggggh I hate these stupid rankings they are so dumb. They are not accurate and they cannot be accurate and it’s so frustrating. I’m looking through trying to find where to place this and it’s like, so I like it more than [[ENHYPEN]], but I like it less than [[beebadoobee]]. I definitely like it less than [[Hazlett]], but I also definitely like it more than [[Cosmos People]]. Everything is all over the place and there’s really no way for it to not be. Putting it between [[Yoke Lore]] and [[Destiny’s Child]] will do for now, but only because I’m determined not to let my frustration with my current process disrupt everything before I establish an alternative for myself. Gugh. This enumerative evaluation is so dumb, it is increasingly so meaningless. Whatever. It’s fine, it doesn’t really matter, it just has to go somewhere for now and this is some where, so great.
